Like the song, but highly doubt Stanton would have ascribed to Buddhism. That Peace of which he is playing is the Peace of God that is in Christ: "Peace I leave with you, My Peace I Give, not as the world knows of peace, but as I Do"..'Let not your hearts be troubled nor let them be afraid. Behold, I have overcome the world!".
