To this day, the Japanese denied the Nanking Massacre where the Japanese Imperial Army killed more civilians and POWs and raped more 10000 women after they looted the then Chinese capital in 1937 after suffering some casualties of their own. The Japanese never forgot the two US nuclear bombs that killed the civilians of their own but would deny their own war crimes. Russian only admitted the Katyn massacre after almost 50 years.
