MiG-29 fighter jet crashes near Agra after mid-air system glitch; pilot ejects to safety

A MiG-29 fighter jet which had taken off from Punjab's Adhampur crashed near Agra in Uttar Pradesh on November 04, officials said. The pilot has ejected from the plane. Defence officials further added that the plane was on its way to Agra when the incident happened.
Rajesh Kumar SDM Kirawali says, "Today a fighter plane of the Indian Air Force crashed at around 4:15 pm, the pilot also showed great presence of mind and landed the plane away from the populated area and came out safely with the help of parachute. Air Force personnel are investigating it and prima facie it seems that it happened due to some mechanical fault, but the real cause will be known only after investigation. There is no casualty or injury..."

Indian Fighter jets is very very weak comparing to China, Pakistan not to compare with Russia or USA . The IAF urgently need 5.5 Generation fighter jets like F- 35 from US and SU -75 from Russia.
