Shout out to D.Rose, who just announced his retirement this morning. He was the youngest NBA MVP ever when he won the award at age 22 for the Chicago Bulls. His unfortunate ACL injury and subsequent surgeries robbed him of a lock Hall of Fame career. I hope he still gets in.

D-Rose is gonna be a really sad "what if" 😢

What even scarier & sadder at the same time, that monster 2011 MVP version of D.Rose, wasn't even his PRIME just yet. The reality is, we never really got the chance to see his prime because of his injuries. Still, the youngest MVP in league's history. Enjoy retirement, future Hall of Famer. 💯🌹

The worst part is his injury came in garbage time and the coach left him in… should have never happened 😔

Brandon Roy and Derrick Rose are the 2 greatest what ifs since I've started watching ball

I didn't realize the guy with glasses is Raymond Felton. A consistent and underrated point.

People keep sayin it's sad because D Rose 🌹was one of the ultimate "what ifs". NAH....D Rose was HIM. He was what it was. His story will be a "what more .."

He didn’t really have a prime his injury (all of them messed him up he was a young super super elite player that never reached his peak 💔💔💔💔💔💔) and yes he’s in my hall of fame

Sad thing is, we didnt even get to see him at his Prime. He was just approaching his Prime.
We only saw a glimpse of it.

Imagine if we have had 10 years of D-Rose MVP years.. regardless of how many rings he would have had in that time, he would have definitely been in the GOAT conversation.. he was that unbelievable..

I'm a diehard Bulls fan and never was a Drose fan. But I respected his talent. Hats off to the young man...

He should be put into the Hall of Fame.

The ones who understand the game will understand why...

Future generations must properly know of D Rose. Coming back from those injuries and continuing to persevere in the league and push forward as best as possible. Then learning to maintain a role as a supportive pillar on his teams...

IMO, he should get in.

On the other hand, if he is not put in, his greatness will be seen and remembered through content covering him.

I think the devotion to the craft and the lessons conveyed through one's career, are extremely important considerations.

To put it in perspective d Rose was like that but at the same time he was just getting started that's the part that's tragic about it but I wouldn't even say he was in his prime he was going to be even scarier
