The trouble with using deathmatch for warming up is that this sort of thing happens far too often:-

You come across Sova.
You see each other.
You start shooting at each other.
You die to the Reyna that you didn't even see because she was behind you.

i have no idea what exactly happened but i followed each step really carefully, starting from dpi to in game sen, i spent an hour at the range, and first comp today i got 36 kills... im shocked with how much comfortable i now am, and the game is much easier now. thanks!!

stop focusing on aim, play smarter and play around your team, stop crouching in fights, stop spraying with the phantom/vandal. You'll be on your way to be Plat + easily if u do those things

I just bought my first gaming pc last week. Tried playing valorant and im consistant on around 10-15 kills and 20-30 deaths on deathmatch

I think this video is really gonna help lessen that gap

I aint gonna lie, that DPI point isn't really the best tip for since everyone has difference preferences. The TLDR is if you cant flick turn it up, if you cant be precise at long ranges/sprays turn it down, you dont need to follow that equation in anyway. I noticed i couldn't flick so quickly onto people so with some slightly higher sens and better crosshair placement its gotten way better

I’m new the the game and even the FPS genre but I’ve realized if you stay calm if your gunfights you will get a lot more kills. What’s better, spraying and praying then recoil has you giving them professional haircuts or aiming then tap firing keeping your bullets as precise as possible

i saw this from another video of how to improve your gameplay: you should try killing your opponent in the first 10 shots, because they only go up mostly, after that it will start going side to side more

My main problem with my sens is that if i move my mouse too fast, it will spin out so i can't really play on a lower sens and turn around quickly, so i play with 800dpi with 0.9 in game

on the sensitivity part: i play and have played for a pretty long time on a very low sensitivity (400 DPI and 0.3 ingame multiplier which i think is about 120 eDPI) and i feel very comfortable with it. should i still try to lift it up to 200 eDPI even though i tried it once before and gave up because i was frustrated from not hitting shots? (for information, i play valorant for fun and i dont really have a goal to reach a certain rank)

Sometimes i just wonder is Aim sensitivity and DPI are really that secret for player to share…

I love the first tip... 280 edpi is what you guys recommended meanwhile I'm sitting on 350 edpi debating on whether or not to give that a shot

imo sensitivity is personal opinion, till a point where it's too high or too low imo, less than 100 edpi or more 500 edpi would be extremes
