Although I became a fan of CC in college. I followed her to the WNBA even though I had never watched a game since its inception. Watching the lousy referring, Petty Drama, constant missed layups, and blatant racism against an incredibly talented young lady. I found out why I never watched before.

I think the WNBA got it twisted and may have screwed it all up for good. All they had to do was follow the example of every other professional league but they thought after 30 years of failure they knew better.

It became clear this season that the WNBA is more like a women's prison league than a professional league. These drama and jealousy players and biased referees ruined it for true basketball fans. It became soap opera instead of a sport.

I'm going through CC withdrawals since the FEVER was eliminated from the playoffs. I never watched a single WNBA game in my life until CC, a true phenomenon, had me addicted to watching her amazing greatness. What those referees did to the league is unforgettable.

I came to the W for CC. It is sad that Minneapolis brings 8, 500 in a playoff game against the vitriolic Sun, but 18, 000+ capacity vs. the Fever in regular season. Phee, I come to find out is also a great person and player. Phee, A.Smith, B.Carelton, and K.McBride are a good watch. None of them have participated in trash talking or physical abuse against CC. Folks will do as they please, and watch what they wish... Shame on the people of Minneapolis.

When Bird & Magic came into the league, CBS & the NBA changed their schedules so that every Saturday's Game of the Week had Bird, Magic or Dr. J playing in every game; usually playing each other.
