In September of 2023, Ann Sadler and her husband Andy spent three amazing days in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal, where they explored the city and surrounding areas including a foodie tour, a trip to Sintra and a sail on the Tagus River. This was followed by a week in the Azores. These volcanic islands, which belong to Portugal, are situated in the Atlantic Ocean about 1,000 miles west of the mainland. They visited two of the islands, Sao Miguel and Terceira, and were stunned by their beauty.
