Honestly, Princess Shroob form two is nightmare fuel as a kid

I love the progression that you see in these games. It's not like it's a completely different world, as they reference events that took place in the prior games. The shroobs appear in Inside Story, Starlow mentions their previous adventure in Dream Team, Bowser retains his inhale ability in Dream Team from Inside Story and so much more. The personalities of these characters remain pure throughout, and I hope that if there is indeed another Mario & Luigi game (from AlphaDream or other studio) that they keep the charm this series has always had.

I cried the moment Bowser finally said Luigi's name, he finally made it, he got acknowledged by the Koopa King.

I love how in dream team Bowser finally becomes self aware of all those times he's betrayed by the other villian and backstabs him first

In my opinion, Elder Princess Shroob is possibly the best and most powerful villain in the M&L series. The battle, the music, the weather changing in her second form all really added the sense of urgency to the battle as the whole sky erupted like the maelstrom. It was like the whole Mushroom Kingdom in the past, present and future all hung in the balance and standing before the Bros. was the pure embodiment of all evil unleashing all of her power on them and all their lives depended on winning this fight. It was like everything was now in their hands and facing the true monster really made the battle even more epic. Elder Princess Shroob is truly a monster and proves to be even more evil than Bowser by killing her own people and having no regard for them.
