Bruschetta - Mrs Vahchef

Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women

Bruschetta is an antipasto from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. Variations may include toppings of tomato, vegetables, beans, or cheese.

Ingredients:
Bread(slices) 6-8 Numbers
Garlic(chopped) 1 Tablespoons
Mixed herbs 1/2 Teaspoons
Pepper powder 1 Teaspoons
Olive oil 2 Tablespoons
Salt To fry
Tomato(finely chopped) 1/2 Cup
Olives 1/4 Cup
Coriander leaves 1 Teaspoons
Lime juice 1 Tablespoons
Mushrooms(finely chopped) 1/4 Cup
Green bell pepper(chopped) 1/4 Cup
Mozzarella cheese 1 Teaspoons

Directions:
1. Take a baking tray and add few round and oval shape bread slices.

2. Take a bowl and add garlic, mixed herbs, ½ tsp pepper powder, olive oil, salt and mix it.

3. Coat this mixture on bread slices and bake it for 2 mins at 200 degree.

4. Take a bowl and add tomato, olives, coriander leaves, lime juice, little salt, ½ tsp pepper powder, mozzarella cheese and mix to make first stuffing mixture.

5. In another bowl add mushrooms, green bell pepper, dry mixed herbs, little salt and mix to make second stuffing mixture.

6. Remove from oven and stuff few bread toast with first stuffing mixture and another with second stuffing mixture, later bake it for 1 min.

7. Now bruschetta is ready to serve with tabasco sauce.

Did you know that this dish is popular mainly in central Italy? It is served usually before eating pizza and it is basically made with tomatoes salt and pepper, but I recommend you try another version with zucchini blossom, anchovies and mozzarella, a real treat! Or with roasted capsicum and garlic

Hi, I am a great fan of Vah Chef. Mam request you to pronounce bruschetta correctly it should be bruˈsketta  'ch ' in Italian should be pronounced k. If you really wanna try out yummy Italian, please try out OVER THE FLAMES in Madhapur (wood fired pizzas) .Hyderabad is a city both the king and the poor, I have tried bruschetta for a cheaper price.
