Proper Position of Infant Car Seat Harness for a Newborn

Are you properly harnessing your newborn in their infant car seat?

Once your baby is clicked into the infant base in the car, make sure to double-check the infant car seat harness for proper positioning! Straps should come from right at or below their shoulder, buckled in correctly, and at the proper recline. This is important to keep them safe in a car crash and to keep their airways open.

To make sure your infant base is installed correctly, check out this video:

Thank you for the instructions.

We use Graco car seat and I feel when putting the baby in it or positioning it on the base, it's more inclined compared to your car seat although I installed the base correct. This is why our baby slides down and I feel his backbone is a bit bent and it makes him sit on his butt which isn't good for the infants.
Our baby is 15 days old.
