Does anyone else here get a bit annoyed that whenever any form of water is found on any body outside earth then boom - we must go and look for life. Forget about everything else that is required for life.
Take Ganymede for example: the radiation level at the surface is 5–8 rem/per day, an amount that would cause death in human beings exposed for two months and it is embedded inside Jupiter's massive magnetosphere, the oxygen in the atmosphere is far too thin to support life as we know it, it is tidally locked, with one side always facing toward the planet and temperatures on the surface average minus 171 degrees Fahrenheit to minus 297 F, Ganymede's tidal forces are too weak to provide enough heating to allow an ocean of liquid water- but hey, we found water!

I wonder how human can survive the physical anomalies of climate, gravity etc if they are really obsessed to colonize planets outside earth.

I thought Hubble was dead, is still working?

Well, it's not a steam engine like Europa.
