The battery Life on my iPhone 13 had been terrible on previous versions, but it improved slightly with 16.3 — still not up to the mark . I hope the settings you mention in the video helps! I also disabled the Product Improvements under Location>System Services as it was frequently using my Location. Hope it makes a difference.

I never use Siri so I have it disabled.Whether it helps with battery life or not I wouldn’t know but I have no complaints with battery life on my 14 Pro Max anyway.It’s awesome.

The fact is you have a good battery life with IOS 15 even with all these features turned on but on IOS 16 you have to compromise features or many setting to turn it off to get good battery life.

No, no, no… all these and more. All my notifications, all background app refresh and 95% of all location services and all system locations turned off. It did not make a dent. Ever since iOS 16.x battery life has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY! On both my iPhone12 Pro and my wife’s iPhone 11.
I am almost convinced there’s a memory leak somewhere. Also even when turning off those location services the blue icon still appears at the top.

If you turn off Significant locations the Optimized Batery charging will stop working. This is written on Apple website and I checked this myself.

Battery life vs using your phones full functionality seems to be a constant topic of conversation. For me, I paid $1000 for a phone and I want it to as much as it can for me. If I have to charge it more so be it. My rotary phone never needed charged and as didn’t do shit for me other than make calls.

One feature I found that drains a LOT of battery is the Wifi-Assist in the Cellular settings.😳Turn THAT off and your battery will improve DRASTICALLY! I GUARANTEE it!😳

I have a iphone 8 and updatet few days ago from 15.6 to 16.3 and my iphone is useless now. Every minute i lose 2%. I think after 14 years iphone I’m switching to android, I think Apple is doing the same as it was a few years ago. They install mechanisms so that the battery runs out faster. Of course, my battery is at 80% health, but under 15.6 I had no problems that my battery was drained so quickly
