Selling promotional products - how to get started for free - sage - ppai - asi - distributor central

In this video, I go over the quick ways to get started in the promotional products business. In short, there are three main platforms (that I know of) to get started with. You have ASI, SAGE/PPAI, and Distributor Central. When I first started I paid for ASI. I didn't really have the money so I stopped paying for it after a year. A few years later I found the free Distributor Central platform. I still use that platform some, but I've found SAGE to be a better tool for me. Selling promotional products has been the biggest moneymaker for me this year. If you have the time and ability, I'd suggest getting started. You can always start small. I'd suggest pens.

Hey man i have a small business in Houston am a barber and i also have been making screen printed shirt and i was looking to become a wholesaler to have the blank shirt i use to make my tees i was wonder what i would need to get my registration accepted to be able to buy shirts whole sale they were saying something about ppai, ppac, and asi and i was not sure where to go or even how to get the number i would need any help?

Is this kinda like alibaba. I own a brand and been looking for manufacturers and all I could ever find is the same basic ones, Bella canvas, next level, Gildan etc. always wondered where the big companies like Nike and stuff get their good quality stuff that I don’t see these manufacturers offer. So would this be the right place to look? Alibaba is more cheap stuff a lot of time plus takes months to get it delivered and shipped

Thanks for this video, super helpful. I have a question though, does SAGE Total Access only cover access to their supplier database? If I wanted a website similar to how DC offers, is that an additional cost? The SAGE website doesn’t really specify if that’s an additional $500 on top of the $500 yearly access cost.
