I had my camera case checked because it was 'too big'. I explained it had batteries in it and no one seemed to care. They were more than happy to charge me for the privilege though! Fortunately no damage or issues but it was very concerning.

I see the colors of this video and background seperation bit different from tegular videos of yours, have you made any changes to video production or to the gears? Or its just i am judging it wrong?

Doesn't look like the R1 has anything to tempt me to trade in my R3 if those specs are accurate.

I don't shoot pro-level wildlife or sport so the R1 couldn't be any less appealing or useful to me.
That said, Sony are probably releasing an A1 mkII soon enough, and Canon still aren't even close to challenging the A1 mk1... Let alone launching a global shutter like the A9 III. It's a bit embarrassing for Canon to be generation(s) behind with a flagship camera.

if the R1 is the flagship, it should be able to shoot 8k so it should be at least 35mp

If R1 is only 24mp, it will be funny compared to Z9 and A1. I guess it will be 45mp..

Would a pro carry Canon AE-1? Somehow it sounds sketchy. There is miscellaneous gear and if that in anyway presents how they were packed no wonder they broke

Yea, I be disappointed too if the specs are true. This R1 sounds more like an R3 mark ii rather than an R1. It does need to be at least 45 mega pixel to be consider an R1. Otherwise, Sony nailed it with their A1.

R3 was meant to be the R1 but Nikon dropped Z9 so Canon got a bit caught out . A good point this may in fact be a R3 Mk II body and screen are almost identical bezel on screen is too wide so the screen isn't actually that big .To differentiate they need a better bigger better screen than comes with R3 .

24mp is joke and I hope it's not he case because I've been holding out for the R1 since I purchased the R3 (in lieu of the Z9). If not on par w/ the competition then I'm throwing in the towel and will switch over the the Z9 -- the true master of all (I just much prefer Canon ergo, but it only goes so far).
