The other side of this that is also very terrifying is the high chance that the needle was not sterile and the site itself was not sterile. This can lead to many diseases quickly entering into your blood stream and immediately going to your heart as it's closer and gravity will help the blood pull down into the heart rather then up from the legs. Very scary either way you look at it

Definitely not voodoo, as I can see some of these women are islamic hijabis. If this is Morocco, which more than likely it is morocco, turkey, or algeria. The natives there (the beber people) do some heavy ass witchcraft in the rural areas.
Like the hard darker witchcraft stuff, but lesser known by people. They love to take secrect pictures of you, hair, blood, clothing, etc, to put curses on you. Or if they hate you that much they will put stuff in food and give it you as a friendly gift.
My bestie, who is a native berber from Morocco herself, her family left the life of that witchcraft, and they tried to come after her out of spite for leaving. They had to move to Agadir and cut all ties with them. She gave me all heads up and warnings of witchcraft done over there. I got to see it for myself too. Jealousy/Envy runs rampant over there in those areas.

Voodoo dolls doesn’t work like that. Like it could definitely be for black magic thing but not voodoo. Like she could even take a strand of her hair, or her picture, basically anything that can represent her. A witch who can (like who’s able to) do blood magics would at least be experienced enough to do it discreetly and in a better way.
