📌 WHO: John & Betty Stam was a lesser-known American missionary couple to China.

📌 WHAT: Just three months after the birth of their daughter, John and Betty were captured by Communist rebels and condemned to death. Though they were called home before turning 30, their daughter survived as was known as “The Miracle Baby.”

📌 WHEN: They lived in the 1900s-1930s.

📌 WHERE were they trained: Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, US

📌 WHY: As a result of their deaths, many unbelievers turned to Christ and numerous Christians were moved by the Stams’ ultimate sacrifice to become missionaries themselves.
