I was there with my wife not long ago. We really enjoyed walking around there and shopping. We were so amazed at the art of bargaining. Many Europeans, Aussies and Americans were there shopping. We were told not to be embarrassed for making a deal. Remember the guy asking 400.00 rupees for something my wife fancied. Started walking and he called out to us. After some haggling he settled for 75 rupees that is a shade over $1.28. It was fun.
