You have to be crazily blinded by nostalgia to think the older one looked better...

This is an AMAZING remaster. And I'm glad they have an option for both looks. you know, for those who can't take off their pink nostalgia tinted glasses ;)

Why do remastered games look worse than the originals pretty frequently? Wind Waker HD looked worse, as well. All that bloom lighting shit in a cel-shaded style. You know, the ONE style where gradient-lighting will never belong.

great update indeed but like some fellow gamers here I have a pixel heart and it can't be remastered.

The original is much better. The game was designed as a bitmap pixel art game suited for smaller CRT screens. The "remastered" version was filtered through a vector graphics filter and it lost completely its pixel art roots. Pixel art is a completely different artform from vector graphics.
