When I was a kid (pre-teen) this movie came out. My great-grandmother was still alive. I went to see this in the theatre with her and with my grandmother who has also now passed. I remember walking out of there and its the only time I ever saw my great-grandmother crying. She cried all the way out to the car. I have always wished I could know what she had been thinking back then in that moment, but I do know it was very personal and touching to her heart.
