UMX Gee Bee cutting out

Stock, fully charged, 200mAh battery. ESC cuts out on the first full throttle attempt then doesn't repeat.

I currently run a GWS 5030 prop on one of mine and a stock prop on the other. When running the stock prop plane, I need to bleed off a charged battery for at least 10 seconds or a full throttle run will hit the OCP without fail.

The second Gee Bee with the GWS runs on a fresh stock pack as well as any higher grade packs I use (Hyperion 240mAh and 320mAh) without any hint of hitting OCP. Not only that but the GWS prop makes the Gee Bee move out with authority! :)

Did You try rebinding it? If that doesn't work, it must be a cold soliar joint. Good luck if you don't figure it out call Horizon. I just bought this plane a few days ago myself, I havn't tried it yet, the weather here hasn't been to good. Let us know when you get it sorted out. I would rebind it 1st, then try running a battery at less then 1/2 throttle to break the motor in. Also check connections to the motor, unplug and replug the rx plugs. Make sure nothing is getting hot....Jim

yeah common issue, it's caused by the size of the propeller... use the propeller that comes with the beast 3d and your problem will be solved... I have the gee bee r2 and it shuts off too but it's doesn't do it while flying... only happening if you hold the plane
