My wife and I have each had a BWM i3 for the past six years. Due to the i3's strong regenerative braking we rarely apply the brake pedal, so I don't understand why the brake pads would ever wear out. I really enjoy your videos but this one came across as a Bosch informercial.

Of course parts and labour costs vary by country but to buy Bosch parts in U.K. for all that work would be ca £260 (€280). Given the Bosch agent can’t do all the diagnostics and software updates that a bmw could during service that price seems very high for what was completed.

Holy Cow, that's nearly £1, 000. Looking at getting a Polestar 2 very soon (LR DM with Pilot & Plus). Even after 3 years, I would not expect to pay that kind of money again. Now searching for P2 servicing YT videos. Kris, thanks for your insights regarding EV servicing. I too believe in only Bosch OEM gear, so reliable and lasts a long time... 👍😀 (as for the wipers on the windshield, I use RainX, saves on using wipers, plus the rain running off is a spectacle to watch)
