How To Style A Vintage Dress

I used to have a forest green button up dress that was just like this-other than the buttons, color and brand of course 😂. I’m 47. I believe I had it at 18, thought it was office appropriate at the time, wish I still had it, it was gorgeous and would still fit well. But now it just lives in pictures. Thanks for the memory ❤

How amazing is that!! I shall have to keep an eye out for a black one, love the dress but I'm cool toned (bright winter?) and that oatmeal beige would make me look like I'd risen from the dead....

I used to have an Etsy store selling knitted accessories about 20 years ago, I was in the office last winter and someone showed up in one of my pieces, they had no idea I made it (in fact stubbornly refused to believe me, how rude!) until I showed them my archived store and there it was. They must have bought it about 15 years before we met.

I liked it better without the big vest thing. I'd have used a funky, longer, open knit type of cardigan/shawl/shrug.
