BACK TO BACK Almost World Record Runs

The first run in this video was 4:55.96. That makes me the first person to get more than one 4:55. Unfortunately both of mine are slower than the other two that have been done! This one was world record pace until room 3 of 8-4, where I went for fast accel (jumping backwards to save up to 5 frames) and botched it. Proper execution of that room would be about 0.3 faster. If I hit it there's a very good chance I would've gotten world record by 2 or 3 frames.
