It is not LRT. It s designed by BYD and powered by batteries.There are also other specialized designs that make the construction cost very low and suitable for smaller cities.

In Singapore, this is called LRT that has been operating for decades and fully automated. Bukit Panjang LRT and Sengkang-Punggol LRT. I wonder why it is being called world's first?
