Boy, oh boy did I believe in this character. I consider Jared and Rayon two different people to the point where when I watch Dallas Buyers Club, I don’t feel like I’m looking at Jared at all. Absolutely amazing performance!

I've acted in plays and musicals and always took an approach into actually bringing my own take on a character. Kinda using my as a median between what my character is and how I want my character portrayed. In addition, I always use shreds of inspiration when acting so I can firmly believe that I am the character. I also use voice training to do it as well. Kinda like how Kevin Spacey or Gary Oldman approaches their work. It's not "method" acting per se, but more of a artistic approach.

Method acting only causes a problem on set when you play a villain or an asshole. If we talk about the Joker, he is like the baddest of the baddest and he wasn't a member of the suicide squad. I'm sure Jared would hang out with the cast if his character was close with other characters. Either way, no one can disrespect the idea of method acting. If he thinks method acting is the best technique for him let him go for it.

Each character that is given to Jared is like wearing that persona for a given moment and carrying it throughout the process of the film and then letting it go afterwards. It's genius and freaky if you see him in these characters. In acting the instrument is yourself, wheras in music you can physically see the person holding a guitar, but with acting it's another character you are holding.

Jared Leto and Leo DiCaprio are to me the most talented and increible actors ever, Jared can literally transform himself into a totally different person, and you don't even notice it's him playing the character. What these people call "method acting" is what any decent actor who isn't evem necessarily famous calls research.

Method isn't living a hobo to play one, or visiting a psych ward to play a lunatic, that shit is research. And celebs who go around turning "method" into a trendy topic or excuse to do stupid shit spits on acting as a profession 😑😑😑😑😑😑
