Piton Awards Aftermovie

UNITA - Universitas Montium
The InnoUNITA PITON Awards took place on 22 and 23 June 2023. This event brought together the 6 best teams of the UNITA - Universitas Montium alliance which contains 6 European universities.

Each team mentioned a project during a 4-minute pitch… in English.
➡ The Universitatea de Vest din Timişoara (UVT), Romania, presented the project entitled Good practice examples in urban gardening via a toolkit based on the UVT urban garden.
➡ The University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), France, presented the project entitled EntomoBak, democratize insect consumption.
➡ The Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), Portugal, presented the ParaHealth project.
➡ The Universidad de Zaragoza (UNIZAR), Spain, presented the project Las patitas viajeras (the travelling paws).
➡ The Università degli studi di Torino (UNITO), in Italy, presented the project of financial impact study of a new method of detection of bacteria in drinking water for the company Sant'Anna.
As for the USMB, it was represented by the Sporganize project team, which won the PITON Awards a few days earlier. She presented her approach to developing communication and marketing strategies for Sporganize.

AND THE WINNERS ARE….

A jury, made up of a representative of each partner university, distinguished the 3 best pitches:
➡ the 3rd prize was awarded to the UNITO team
➡ and, tied for 1st place, the USMB and UNIZAR teams!
The two teams tied for 1st place win each €400 to be shared between students.
The atmosphere of the evening was relaxed and friendly, with an animation of the ceremony provided with brio and humor by the Bandits Penguins.

Les 22 et 23 juin 2023 ont eu lieu les InnoUNITA PITON Awards. Cet évènement regroupait les 6 meilleurs équipes de l'alliance UNITA - Universitas Montium qui contient 6 universités européennes.

Chaque équipe a évoqué un projet lors d’un pitch de 4 minutes… en anglais.

➡ L’Universitatea de Vest din Timişoara (UVT), en Roumanie, a présenté le projet intitulé Good practice examples in urban gardening via a toolkit based on the UVT urban garden.
➡ L’Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA), en France, a présenté le projet intitulé EntomoBak, democratize insect consumption.
➡ L’Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), du Portugal, a présenté le projet ParaHealth.
➡ L’Universidad de Zaragoza (UNIZAR), en Espagne, a présenté le projet Las patitas viajeras (the travelling paws).
➡ L’Università degli studi di Torino (UNITO), en Italie, a présenté le projet d’étude d’impact financier d’une nouvelle méthode de détection de bactéries dans l’eau potable pour l’entreprise Sant’Anna.

Quant à l’USMB, elle était représentée par l’équipe projet de Sporganize, qui a remporté les PITON Awards quelques jours plus tôt. Elle présentait sa démarche de développement des stratégies de communication et marketing pour Sporganize.

ET LES GAGNANTS SONT….

Un jury, constitué d’un représentant de chaque université partenaire, a distingué les 3 meilleurs pitchs :

➡ le 3e prix a été remis à l’équipe d’UNITO
➡ et, ex-aequo à la 1ère place, les équipes de l’USMB et d’UNIZAR !
Les deux équipes 1ères ex-aequo remportent chacune 400 € à se partager entre étudiants.

L’ambiance de la soirée était détendue et amicale, avec une animation de la cérémonie assurée avec brio et humour par les Bandits Manchots.
