Amazing Domino Chain Reaction

In today's video I show you amazing experiment with domino. Did you know that one domino can knock over another domino about 1.5x larger than itself. So, if you build a chain of dominos where each next is 1.5x larger than previous one you can knock over quite big domino by a tiny one! All needed measurements included in the video. As domino meterial I chose plywood.

Height of smallest domino is 1 cm and the biggest one is 130cm tall. If you add 10 more dominos the biggest one would be 75 meters tall!

It is not that the tiny domino can directly topple the big domino. Each domino is done in by its own stored potential energy which makes it fall when it is tilted too far by the smaller domino next to it.
