OK yes yes, there is a trick, of course there is a trick. Theoretically, it should be impossible to get out and I am guaranteed the win. If you somehow got out do let me know your sequence of moves that led there.

SPOILERS FOR TRICK
Here is an explanation of the trick: If you think of this as a checkered grid, black and white, if you are on a black square, and move an odd number of times, you will always land on a white square. If you are on black and move an even number of times, you will always land on black. And vice versa. I eliminated the blocks that are impossible to land on, so that's is how the magic is done. I don't wanna be that guy, but chances are, if you got out I think you miscounted. Please validate before sharing your sequence if you can

My reasoning behind why it is inevitable to have your mind "read":

For your first move, you will either land on the purpur or slime block, making the elimination of stone reasonable.
For the second move, you are an even number of blocks away from the pumpkin block, no matter where you chose initially. Wifies asked for the movement of an odd number of blocks, eliminating the pumpkin block and the possibility of reaching it.
For the following moves, similar logic applies. It does not matter where you start, for you will always be alternating the amount of blocks you are away from your target block by the pattern of even, odd, even, odd, etc., making it impossible to win, since an even number of blocks between the purpur and slimes does not matter since it started with even, and abiding by my logic, whether you are on purpur or slime doesn't matter.

The game deals with parity (odd or even). Wifies says to move an even amount, then eliminates a square that takes an odd amount of steps to get to. They never remove a block that you could possibly be on. This is easier to see if the grid was a black and white checker board. If you’re on white and move an even number of spaces, you are guaranteed to be on a white space
