I was in the Navy doing overflow watch, and i swear I've seen a bird flying close to the water then just drop in it was my first time seeing a flying fish

I remember seeing flying fish when I watch Life of Pi in 2012 and I was seven years old at that time, it's a film based on Yann Martel's 2001 novel of the same name and follows Pi Patel played by Suraj Sharma and Bengal tiger named Richard Parker

The flying fish in this film is incredible and they are chased by tuna until they landed on Pi an Richard's boat, then Pi only eat the tuna meat and Richard eat the flying fish

It must work somehow otherwise evolution wouldn’t have given it the ability to survive that way, but I do wonder what they prey thinks happens to these guys when they cross the event horizon lol
