Redditors used CPS to target Christian parents

You know I was abused for 8 years by my step mom. CPS was called several times, told them I was hurt a few. They are a joke. They never did anything, they took my brother away from me and left me to get mentally and physically abused. Worthless organization

A knew someone that had to report a legit concern to CPS; the only thing that happened was the person they complained against refused to talk to them any more on an account that their friend in CPS said exactly who lodged the complaint and what it was about.

I don't trust CPS anonymity at all now, very corrupt, can't trust them.

My ex reported me three times during the custody dispute. CPS interviewed me after the first one, thought it was a joke, and the other two were ignored. Didn't matter to the judge. I was reported three time to CPS! I was a monster! Needless to say she got what she wanted: child support. I pay her more per month than I did on the house we owned together. There went any chance to save for retirement.

This crap is why kids in real abuse situations suffer and even die. CPS is used as a tool of control not to help. I worked for TN CPS and its way worse than anyone knows and it's not just TN. These crazies always be prosecuted for false claims

And you will never be told who lodged the complaint and no attempt will ever be made to determine if the complaint was made in malice or not, thus denying the family both Justice and recompense for the trauma and suffering they endured as a result.

Go thru a divorce. CPS is a lawyer's weapon. Complaints of abuse, neglect, violence are commonly filed, as a first line of smears.

I've heard of several incidents like this, of excellent parents getting scrutiny from CPS. I've seen 2 dead kids in the ER, killed by parents that were reported multiple times but CPS never intervened. I'm sure it's a tough job, but it seems like we need to do better. In the meantime, keep your kids off your social media.

They kidnapped my child because my wife is mildly a slow learner. We babysat for ten years before having kids I know she could have handled it. But they got $200, 000 of federal money for kidnapping him. And that was what it was all about.

Think they need to redo the "anonymous" tips in a different way So that CPS is not wasted on unvetted misinformation.
