I  have had spots of alopecia for 2 years now and I have tried every thing but  none of them worked until now. I am using argan life shampoo with argan oil and I noti ced reduce all of the alop ecia spots; I was sur prised and will continue to use both pro ducts.

Techniqually, it's not a hair-loss condition, it's a condition where you have no hair at all in the first place.

Honestly having alopecia universalis sounds like a dream, just having to worry about my eye lashes, eye brows and hair on my head other then my entire body. I'm a girl that's naturally hairy, I don't even have fucking hirsutism so theres nothing I can do apart from me saving up for expensive laser surgery and shaving it only makes it grow back worse!
I think this women is lucky. She just needs to pop a wig on and ta-dah! Any hair color or style she wants!

were the treatments successful? Had they been 'successful' she would no longer be a bald beauty.

I'm sure people are going to flag me for saying this put in their own two cents but I really really really want to trigger alopecia universalis for the last eight years I've just been so depressed about having hair everywhere and more more it's become too painful to maintain it being a 26 year old woman and still have another 20 years before I just entirely give up I really don't know what else to do and it's not just the long dark thick hair it's also the baby Downy peach fuzz which grows pretty long shaving isn't really an option anymore too many ingrown hairs and pimples and having to wait almost a week until I can shave again due to my skin sensitivity because I've done everything the professionals tell you to do I exfoliate make sure my skin is warm has some sort of creamy lubricant so I won't get razor burns I've done waxing sugaring threading laser IPL and electrolysis the last three I had really bad reactions I'm at the end of my rope and I want to be able to wear what I want to feel comfortable in my skin without having to hide it all the time often having to wear long jeans and long sleeve T-shirts in 90 degree Heat during the summer months just so I don't feel like people are staring at it I realize it's more mental but it's something I can't get over and I've talked with doctors but they say I don't have any sort of hormonal issue so they're unwilling to give me medicine the one thing I've been hoping for is gene therapy but it's not yet something that can be used for cosmetic issues and it sucks that it's what it's considered I mean Society and not just American culture all around the world it's made itself a beauty standard to have hairless smooth skin to only have it on your head perfectly groomed eyebrows and super long eyelashes are the only hair you need while everything else is unwanted yet it's not uncommon for you to start losing The Wanted Hair by the time you're 50 people know this you have so many advertisements that are either promising beautiful thick head hair or something that's going to get rid of The quote-unquote unwanted hair doctors and other medical professionals know this yet they write it off as cosmetic similar to teeth yet we do need teeth but to get implants and things like that it's hardly ever covered by your insurance and they want to talk about mental health I agree that trying to change your appearance drastically isn't healthy just so you can fit into a mold and believe that's going to make you desirable but I also agree that having to be stuck in a body you were just repulsed by is not very healthy either and just telling a patient that they're beautiful and that it's all in the head is going to get you smacked because those professionals are not dealing with it and those who are typically are more motivated to find a way around it or trying to fix it so yeah I want to get rid of all my hair I like the idea of having my look put together the night before and just tossing it on after a very quick shower feeling more confident even if people think that putting on makeup or in this case a wig is being fake so you can't be confident about it that's not how I see it I see it as a way of expressing myself and having to deal with the Other Extreme to me it's my way of taking control of my life and my body and I want to do it as healthy as I can
