My vehicle was blown up, I was permanently disabled, and my highly successful career was ended in Afghanistan because a female Air Force pilot didn't want to shoot two guys observed putting an IED in the ground when our on the ground commander (who is supposed to be the ultimate authority including ordering air strikes) told her to engage them. So don't talk to me about DEI, because the Marine male pilots never had an issue following orders and engaging the enemy.
