Read these for the first time 2 years ago, I really enjoyed them all. It’d be hard for me to rank them. Nice video 👍

I disagree with Philosopher's Stone being last, but it's great to see someone appreciate Order of the Phoenix, a great and underrated book.

I really like the condition of your hp books, terribly worn. That’s the beauty of paperback books. The more affection you give to the book, the more worn it got. Those of your books looks thousand times charmer than brand-new books. Ps. OOP is my favorite, too.

Absolutely *nothing* happens in almost all of OOTP. The entire book is basically full of dead ends, and every character basically wastes the entire year.

Ron and Hermione becoming Prefects? Dead end.

Hagrid going to negotiate with the Giant tribes? Dead end.

Dumbledore avoiding Harry all year long? Dead end.

Hogwarts expulsion and worrying about the Ministry trial for so many chapters in the beginning? Dead end. Dumbledore just came, ignored Harry, and settled it in 5 minutes. You might as well have just sent a second Howler 5 minutes after the first one saying Dumbledore cleared everything up and Harry is reinstated back in Hogwarts.

Obsessing over Cho Chang for 3 books? Dead end.

Occulumency lessons? Dead end. Even the memory was a dead end, because it has no bearing on the story other than to make Harry feel bad. You could take out all the bullying scenes and it wouldn't change Snape's memory of Lily in Deathly Hallows one bit.

Grawp is a dead end too. He barely factors into Deathly Hallows, and she could have written the Forbidden Forest scene to just be about centaurs and changed Grawp into Aragog a moving tree or something.

Introducing all the devices they saw in the Ministry, including the locked door and the Veil device? Dead end. It only was relevant for one death and then never seen again in any other book.

Even telling Sirius to stay at home and do nothing all year long was a dead end, because the vision was fake and he was following orders anyway until Harry caused him to break them.

Nothing encapsulates this more than Tonks. You meet her in OotP thinking she's so cool and such a badass, and She does nothing. For 3 books. Three books of absolutely nothing. Just dating, marriage and pregnancy. Any character could have done that, didn't need to introduce any shapeshifting powers that she barely ever utilizes.

Umbridge, Fred & George are the ONLY characters who got anything done the entire year and moved forward from their starting position in the book.

Half blood Prince is so damn overrated. A few nice Dumbledore scenes and Voldemort backstory are not enough to make a book. The whole plot of who the half blood Prince is doesn’t amount to nothing and it just seems like a rip off of the who is tom riddle of book 2 without half the suspense and importance and more pages of teasing without anything satisfying. On top of that I think the writing decays there after book 5 and the description of Dumbledore death and the reaction seemed less emotional than Sirius black and didn’t pack the same punch because of the vapid way it was written in.

Goblet of Fire not being #1? List is invalid.
OotP being #1? Channel is invalid. Order Of The Phoenix was mind-numbing drivel.
