My ps5 is quiet. thinking I had the delta this whole time, I finally checked today(internal cleaning) . I have nidec, and I'm still satisfied with its quietness.

I’m confused about what fan mine has because it says Delta on the back but the fan blades look like a Nidec? The square sectors in the middle on the base are also like a delta fan (smaller like the fan on the right) I am just confused what sort of fan I have and would like to get to the bottom of it, I still consider it to be quiet and don’t hear any buzzing while playing from the fan itself.

Hi, I have been reading some people reviews on this delta fan and some of then told that the ps5 overheats due to this delta fan, what's your experience? The fan works fine? I don't know what to do but I want to replace my nidec

I bought this same delta fan and I installed it in my ps5, it has this UFO sound, similar to the Nidec Fan

With the coil whine, the fan noise is barely noticeable

why coil whine sounds louder but you say you barely hear it

Does the delta fan work as intended? I read that this delta fan is a knock off and it doesn't spin as intended so the cooling is not as efficient.

I just kept buying and selling PS5’s until both me and my bf got quiet fan ones. Now both our PS5’s are completely silent

Hi, have you had any problems with the fan cable? my Nidec model on the CFi-1216 has a slightly longer fan cable than the others. From the video I can't understand if yours is like this too, if so let me know if you have any difficulties in this regard, thanks man

I recently got the digital PS5 (not the slim version) and I definitely got the quieter fan. Sony must be intentionally pushing me to go all digital. I don't believe in luck so that must be the reason.
