Ultima III: Exodus is the third game in the Ultima series. Exodus is also the name of the game's principal antagonist. Released in 1983, it was the first Ultima game published by Origin Systems. Originally developed for the Apple II, Exodus was eventually ported to 13 other platforms, including a NES/Famicom remake.

It's sad that basically nobody in this clip had any idea what Ultima was really about. I remember finishing Ultima III on the NES (no computer) and it was hard as hell. Had to make a party of 2 clerics, 2 wizards, so everybody leveled up evenly. 2nd favorite NES game behind Maniac Mansion...

No mention of Tunnels of Doom (TI/99/4a), which came out in 1982. Easily better than Ultima and just as influential.

ultima 3 was my favorite.. the music was great, especially the track for that all grey area,
had a cooler custom system then final Fantasy 1-3 and the play style was unique for its time. kinda reminds me of pool of radiance
