One of them from early 1900 was combination of wood gas and electric world war / depression time so depending what was available the kitch cook stove wood burning box heat couple cook spots could load from front or remove burner lid and insert from top also couple gas cooking burner and couple electric .
Town was subject to brown outs and frequent power outages alternate cookig and heating a must
