It's so funny how the incels think that content about the experiences of women through history is somehow a new woke thing. I grew up watching TV and movies and reading books like this in the 80s and 90s. Fried Green Tomatoes, Boys on the Side, Thelma and Louise, A league of their own, 9 to 5, The color purple, The Handmaids tale. And I read a lot of books about women in history. The lived experience of women is not a woke agenda lol

For those who don't know, this is based on the best-selling novel by Bonnie Garmus that just came out in 2022.

I love to see science applied in day to day life. The topic seems interesting and reminded me of the book, "The Science of Cooking."

i did not think i was gonna like the book as much as i did but it became one of my favorite reads of last year and i can’t wait to watch it come to life i’m so excited

Just finished reading the book and it was amazing! I know shows/movies won’t be able to capture it 100%, but I hope it comes close.

Like the author herself said, it’s an adaptation so it didn’t mirror the book and it’s equally good.

I'm so glad that Brie is going back to more Indie type films, she really shines when she's in her element. I believe she was very uncomfortable and unhappy in the Marvel Universe plus the writers doing her dirty with the crap-fest that was Captain Marvel.
