Hope you get this message Charlie. Not sure how helpful it'll be but if you haven't already, try logging out after attempting to reset the notification option to off (if there is one, I've never uploaded so am not familiar). Log back in and toggle it back to the on option. I've read many comments of viewers of videos describing notification failures but never the uploader. Methinks it's all likely toob's failure.
