Skywriting is harder than it looks… (& Thanks for 35k!)

Thank you guys for 35,000 subscribers! I'll need to skywrite the next major milestone, but for now I wanted to share what I wrote in the sky with ForeFlight when I hit 100 subscribers. It's still one of my favorite videos on the channel, and because I didn't have much of a following then, hardly anyone saw it and I wanted to resurface it for this milestone.

I also wanted to share it as a reminder to myself and others to never give up on our goals. YouTube has been an up and down journey, as you can put your heart into a piece of content and see it go nowhere or even hear really rude things said about you. You have to stick with your goals and keep reminding yourself of why you're doing it in the first place. Thanks for your support and it's been a true honor getting to know you in the comments and in my email distributions (which you can sign up for below). It's been a real joy getting to give back to the sport that has changed my life in so many incredible ways and I plan to keep contributing however I can.

Below you can sign up below for my free five-day email series that covers the most impactful lessons I've had as an aviator, from flying to airplane ownership. You'll also be the first to hear about my new courses on how to buy an airplane and how I afford aviation through side hustles by signing up for the wait list here:

Two of my favorite aviation books:

Can't believe all the math that went into this. Well done and happy wife is a happy life. Blue skies and tailwinds always.

Greetings from England. What are the typical landing fees for GA at municipal airports in USA?

Now you have to calculate: 50K (It will be sooner than you think!)

So, I guess you're going to rent a Citabria to write 35K? Half circle, Half Cuban 8, Half circle for the three...
