I've watched allot of tuning videos for nitro. This is the first one I've seen that explains everything in a way that is easily understandable for a newbie. Thank you very much for making this video. I'm confident now that I can get my RS4 Evo up and running finally.

Thank you! I got a nitro and was freaking out when people were talking about tunning, lean and rich...I wanted to take it back and get an electric. NowI'm completely happy with my RC, which was a Christmas present, from my wife. XD

I LIKE HOW TO VIDEOS LIKE THIS ONE ...HES NOT ON HERE BRAGGING OR SHOWING OFF SOME MULTI THOUSAND DOLLAR RC CAR THAT THE AVERAGE PERSON CANT AFFORD OR TRYING TO SELL YOU PARTS FROM SOME RC COMPANY WERE THEY MAKE A PROFIT ON EVERY TIME THEY MENTION THAT COMPANIES NAME ..HE IS SHOWING US HOW WE TOO CAN FIX OR HAVE FUN WITH RC CARS..AND FOR THAT I WILL GIVE THIS VIDEO A THUMBS UP..

Thank you. Finally someone who knows wtf they are expressing and teaching other people. No - one ever talks about the pinging/ detonation on these motors. Nitro is hard to tune, but once you hit that sweet spot...hold on!!

I appreciate all the great detail and showing everyone hands on exactly what to do as well as when the tuning is off and what it does too rich or too lean. Great job again....I watched many tuning videos and this one is definitely the best!

I really appreciate how in the detail and the examples that you give, most videos that say the basics don't give you a clue of information when you just need the actual basics. This is step by step the true basics and I do appreciate your time that you took on it

This guy really knows what he's doing I swear this video will help you out. I left my tmaxx on the shelf for 20 years and forgot everything I learned. And this video saved me form another motor witch will be the the third motor by the way.

This is one of the best tutorials for nitro beginners... and those who may thought they were already experts. Very good, thank you!

I have had my mta4 for about 8 years. Was very temperamental. After watching this video I played around with it and I totally get it now. I never knew it was that quick, I’ve never had it up on two wheels until today!

You're so awesome. Got my delivery from nitrorcx last week so I'll be playing around with our .18 this weekend. Your videos are so informative and detailed. I absolutely love them. Thank you for making this hobby fun for my son and I.

Idle lay down, low side needle engine Temps were left out. High side tuning was spot on. Not being a critic, literally one of the best in depth videos on YouTube and I'm throwing the pros how to videos in the mix. Imho your idle was too high, premature clutch wear etc...You did ask for comments :p

I actually read the entire trx 3.3 manual and learned the importance of cleaning air filter after every hour of use (serious, it’s a big deal) dish soap then air filter oil and your good to go. I also learned that after every run if your are going to store for more than 3 hours go ahead and spray 1sec burst WD-40 straight into open carb and into glow plug hole crank engine 10sec and repeat 2x more times. (Serious, WD-40 in the manual) Starts up great after this treatment and more importantly it gets all the nitro out of the engine so it doesn’t attract water and rust bearings out and such.

Props for putting this video out there. You guys are doing exactly what I am trying to do with my channel....help others out with nitro RC. We all make mistakes and from my experience on camera things rarely go text book when trying to explain lol! Anyways, good job on the video! I'm not the type to criticize others videos because it's not going to change the video anyways and I know how it is to receive a lot of criticism.... Because this hobby (nitro rc) brings a lot of it. Thanks for sharing this!

Hey Buddy, great tutorial on the nitro engine. I just bought a Kyosho Inferno GT2 Race Spec Nitro Car in the red finish and I plan to take it out for the first time on 6-23-19 this Sunday!!! I cant wait!!! I love the sound of the nitro engine. Electric is faster, but you gotta love the sound of nitro. I have watched your video a couple of times and it has given me great confidence. Thanks man, Jon Cardiasmenos. Concord, Ca.
