Amazon has been playing with their listing price number. Some of these are listed as high as 32% off and when you cross check at Home Depot it’s literally a few bucks off. One example is the Wen drill press is only a $10 savings over HD normal daily price. That’s like a 4% savings not 32%….it’s sad that Amazon does this but it’s across the board in every department…

They've got a Metabo HPT 10-inch compound mitersaw on sale for $88 right now too. I don't know how good of a saw it is and it's non-sliding, but less than 90 bucks for a name brand mitersaw seems pretty crazy to me.

That wen drill press is a twin of the 12" Bauer at harbor freight. I got my on sale for $230. I would no problem paying the full price of $300.

That Wen drill press is the real deal. I bought mine last year at about this time. If you read reviews, let me counter a few of the bad ones by offering my thoughts...

First complaint is the speed adjustment is very hard to move. I found that as well. My solution was to bolt the drill press to the table. You should have already done that, right? I really don't mess with speed anyway, unless I have a large diameter forstner but chucked up. Oh...by the way. Did you read the funny papers? Clearly posted...several times...is "Don't move the speed change lever when the drill is off." Bottom line: yeah, it moves hard. Deal with it.

Top heavy? It's a drill press! Bolt it down!

I found it to be a fine tool. Plenty of power. Plenty of weight. Solid construction. If you're looking...just pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed.

I have the barrel grip version of the jigsaw in the dewalt kit, it works great, cuts clean and straight.

Thanks for the Wen drill press recommendation. It looks identical to the new Bauer one at Harbor Freight for $300. I saw it today briefly sold by a 3P Amazon seller for $130 so I pulled the trigger. We'll see if it actually ships (not shipped from Amazon) and if it's authentic . . . 🤞🏻
