And Beyoncé reminds me of Whitney in some ways too ( pronounced vibrato, loud and clear resonance...)

So it’s just a matter of taste. I like the 2 of them but I find Beyoncé’s and Whitney’s voice more entertaining to hear. ❤️

And the fact that Beyoncé can fight with Lara Fabian is a huge compliment

Lara has one of the best resonance ever. But beyonce's versatile is absolutely insane. She can go from lowest to really high with good execution!!

There's this nice enveloping sensation in Lara's overtones and a peculiar ringing resonance ..so much freedom! Her belting technique is godly! I just love how Beyonce belts. Her resonance is crazy as well (especially for a lyric mezzo) and I love the variety of vowels she chooses to phrase on. She also builds on that by altering the mix ratio depending on intent (chest-dominant, head mix, balanced masked) giving her an array of really cool colors/textures. Lara is a bit more homogenous all the way up, although Beyonce's just as connected. I like how forward Beyonce belts while Lara is soo open and warm sounding. Great Video!

This is too hard to choose. I love both of these singers. They're both incredibly talented beyond belief and both have achieved absolute success in their careers. Both of them have gorgeous voices and have no sign of failure.

I would say that Lara won by just a little bit because Beyonce is very iconic and sings beautiful. There's just a teeny tiny bit to improve and then she's as perfect as Lara.

I personally prefer Beyonce. But I think better examples could've been used for the C5 and C#5. If only you switched the C5 with the 2018 Ave Maria C5s and the C#5 with the Halo C#5s from 2013 or 2009 it would've been a better bet.
But regardless I think they tie up to Eb5 then Lara takes the E5. And Bey takes the F5. The F#5's are a tie once more. And while I really think this G5 you used is Beyonce's best live G5 Lara's phrased arpeggio was insane.

Lara is so good. But I prefer Beyonce since she's more versatile. She can change her tone color and use different techniques. (They're both technically good)

A great video! Just one little thing: the D5 of Lara in this video was a C#5, as she lowered 1 key from the studio version. In the studio version she sustained that C5-D5 on "Forever you stay..."

I know it's not a battle but because Lara starts to shine at around C5, Beyonce owns the A4-B4 range, C5-Eb5 they are tied, and E5-G5 Lara takes it easily! two of the best monster vocalists the world has ever seen!

technically Lara remains more consistent, its much harder to find examples of Lara straining vs Bey. But Bey's voice allows for more versatile sounds, she can sell aggressive vocals much better than Lara.

Beyoncé is more versatile at the end of the day, she can sign those notes in a lot of textures and different techniques, Lara has an AMAZING resonance, but I think Beyoncé wins.
