Wow, this actually seems like great quality animation for Disney TV adaptations of the time. I loved Aladdin growing up, had no idea there was a TV show.

Mozenrath was my favorite recurring villain in Aladdin, but Arbutus is easily my favorite standalone. He had so many great lines.

I love it when shows like Aladdin, Gargoyles and Darkwing Duck get animated by the Japanese studios. So much character acting in a few frames of animation.

That's one villain that's really misunderstood. He didn't mean any harm but was protective of his creations. It's so sad he got killed by Aladdin who at the end of the episode, appeared like a huge jerk.

I really like this scene. I did not really like Jasmine in the film. But the show put on my favourite princess list. She is my #9.

This is one of my four favorite episodes of Aladdin. This one being number one. I love how Arbutus is misunderstood and not really a villain. Humanity had hurt him so much. Yet, Jasmine showed him differently. But, sadly Aladdin, as noble as he was ruined it.

To be honest, I thought it was very unfair that Arbutus had to die. Despite how he was a jerk, he still did what he did for relatable and understandable reasons. And that's why he didn't deserve to die, since he had potential for redemption.
