Bart Simpson's class goes to the boring box factory and Bart looks for a way out. He finds it through one of the air vents but things don't turn out as nicely as they usually do. The air vent is not actually an air vent.

The classic box factory clip with a twist. This one felt like a very natural flow, I used a lot of clips from the single episode but rearranged it such that it's a completely different story lol. A lot of rotoscoping was done here, I had to change it such that Bart jumped into an airvent instead of laundry basket. I changed it so the kids laughed at Homer instead of Bart, and Skinner's chuckle at the end, I had to replace the background.

Poor Edna, at the end she was remembering all the good times she had with Bart.

I love that Edna actually is not part of this Bart´s death disrespect wave at the end. This shows why she is a great teacher.

When you realize that the Box Factory's machinery was advanced enough to detect not just that person had fallen into the machinery, but identify the person too, and that it then stopped, only to get restarted by the guy with the broom? That guy is the real reason Bart's dead

Love how there's kind of a fantasy tone here, with the machine knowing Bart by name and actually making him into a box. It's like a Roald Dahl story where someone gets a silly but really harsh punishment.
