For Sale: 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900, extremely original condition, needs pipes and a few small cosmetic things but really great condition considering its been sitting since 1985. Frame #2323, Engine #2451, production date 11/72, 17,640 miles. Lights, kick and electric start, horn, dash lights, key/lock, tank cap, seat latch, etc. all function properly. Needs pipes as mentioned, the speedo needle drifts a little below 20 mph but odometer rolls correctly, the front brake is currently dry and will need filled and bled, carbs were cleaned recently with new gaskets and intake boots, and tires appear to be original. Pulls like a friggin freight train through every gear! I had this in storage awaiting time to clean it up properly and only put a few miles on it but its a real gem. I searched for years to find this original of an example and the only reason I am selling is that we are opening a small brewery and I need the cash flow to help fund construction.
