Norwegian Dawn Cruise Ship Runs Aground Off Coast of Bermuda

The cruise ship lost power and ended up getting stuck on part of a coral reef.

I was at an Norwegian dawn cruise ship in May, I loved it, it was beautiful and I had massive fun!!!
Not all cruises are like this one.

I was on this cruise when it happened. Response time was almost immediate, not hours! Right before the ship shuddered, you could hear loud metal pinging as if some gears were breaking or coming apart, then the shudder, then the complete stop. The crew was great after we were on our way again back home. We had "reef" parties! Free drinks! We sailed warp speed home to make up for lost time.

I was on this cruise and the response time wasn't hours it was minutes. The tide was so low they couldn't pull us off the sandbar. Once the tide got higher they successfully pulled us off.

Damn I been on that ship, to think yes it’s true you might of not none the ship you had a great cruise on a year later or in the past you saw news that’s it’s been in an emergency situation, it’s a law they don’t tend to tell a lot or really passengers of what’s truly going on

The surrounding area of a reef is usually soft sand. The ship is fine

Wow, would not want to be those people on the ship. Getting stuck in Bermuda sounds scary.
