Automatic Headlight Switch Install! (9N3 GTI Polo)

In this video I install an automatic headlight switch into the polo GTI.
Its more of a comfort orientated mod this one, not really aimed at track use but for road use its brilliant.

Hi i have a 2010 caddy which has had the newer front end fitted say 2013/14 but the side lights / day runners dont work will this switch solve it many thanks 👍

Quick question,
i am about to buy this switch on ebay, but got few questions you might help in this case
if it possibe(by setting up through the app) to leave it on auto mod, while its on auto the side light and the front foglights to work,
when it gets dark the main lights turns on by itself,
do you think this apps lets you to mess about with the settings
i have got polo 2010, changed all the bulbs to led's it looks cool when the side lights and the front fog lights,
but obviously i have to manullay turn the switch at on position also pull up onces to turn the front fog lights on.

I have a question: do you ever see the green lamp icon glow when they are active in the dashboard? I bought mine and at night I have no indicator in the dashboard that the lamps are on.

Hello.i would like to ask you something about this switch. I mentioned that it has 13 pins.On my Gti 9n3 the original has 17 pins.Is this going to work properly?

How many pins did your original connector have. Trying to see if mine would work, but it has 17 pins.

I fitted this to my polo 6r but sometimes when its a bit dark the dash lights dont come on or even my lights

I have very intesting issue with that one. When its stay in auto and i leave the car everything its okay coming home its working and turning off after 30sec but in the morning the parking light its on automaticlly... So my diagnostic its when it's dark and i leave the car headlight are off but in the morning when sun is come the parking lights are on... Any advice for that?
