In this video I talk about how I use the Pi-Hole and how to set it up. The setup process I go through is perfect for complete novices. I use Pi-Hole to block ads, track my families internet usage, block social media websites and check on what my devices are up to during the day.

Pi-hole is a Linux network-level advertisement and Internet tracker blocking application which acts as a DNS sinkhole and optionally a DHCP server, intended for use on a private network. It is designed for low-power embedded devices with network capability, such as the Raspberry Pi, but supports any Linux machines.

Can you make a video or instruct me as to how to unpair and remove pihole from my router as I no longer use it to block domains?

I turned off the Pi via Mains and now the Pi admin page won't load. I suspect the SD card has been corrupted. Am I right in thinking I will have to do a brand new fresh install on the SD card to get it up and running again?

after the setup can you disconnect the computer from the modem? I wish to get adblocking on my TV. I have a desktop computer upstairs that is connected to the network via wifi but I have a laptop that I can plug into the router downstairs, would that be ok? I assume adblocking on the TV will work as long as the Pi is connected to the router and does not require me to have my laptop on and plugged into the router via ethernet after the initial setup process?
