I learned this trick today and one difficult thing i had learning it is the flick. when you do a bigflip you have to flick later than a treflip. When i did understand that i had it way better

ive never done a tre flip in my life skating. i can do fakie big spins and then one day many years later after getting back on my board i tried a fakie big flip about 10 tries and no where near landing on it, it kept flipping and landing 90 but not with me on it. i can also do half cab flip easy and comfortable. but after trying fakie big spin my friends were packing up and putting stuff in the car, i said ok here, this ones for u and i pushed mongo and got into position and did the fakie big flip and i landed perfect 180 on the board and my back foot was in the concave on first 2 bolts towards tail and my front foot landed slanted like i was gonna do kickflip after lol i looked down in shock and then looked at my mates and the look on there face was amazing. i had tried it again tonight after being off my board for so long and no where near it again. i think its due to me not having my front foot more down the board so i will try again. but i also have never done big spin or practiced it so trying this big flip is a big step for me. i also lost my switch flips and i remember them feeling weird because i would have my weight more on the front foot to pop and light foot flick and i had it low down the board towards middle to flick. compared to normal kickflip my weight is centered left foot and right foot. i have also changed with me skating the nose as tails on a flip deck 8.13 because my flip deck befor was a cheech and chong and i skated sick with that deck and done fakie big flip on it and then i got a new flip deck and something was off. i noticed i skated my first flip deck the wrong way, so not i decided to skate the nose instead. i like steepish nose and tails and roundish.

Do a 3flip but imagine you are also doing a bs180. Trust the flip and your roation and you will land on it.

I honestly think the big flip is easier to land than a regular tre. I can never seem to stay over my board with a 360 flip, it always goes to far away from me. But the 180 rotation puts me perfectly over the board.

Guy I can’t treflip but I had backside flips down and backside bigspins not that consistent tbh. Focus on getting a good pop/scoop and flick swiftly but not too forcefully. The rest is instinctual since you’re body will just follow the flip. You’ll be surprised by how easy they are to commit to as long as you got a good base

Try fakie back side very big flips their fun

Verial flip is a trick that I have locked and I think of it as a backside 180 n a verial at the same time and it just flips Tre really easily the only problem I ever have is trying to keep it underneath of me sometimes it just gets too far heel side

lean towards your back foot but use ur front foot to guide the board

Fakie FS/Half Cab bigflips are so much easier. Plus, they look better on the catch when you catch it 45-90 degrees before you bring it down.

I oddly found this trick to be leagues easier fakie. Like i can't do it regular and backside flips and big spins are bread and butter for me. But i learned it in about 5 tries fakie. Anyone else?

What’s the difference between a big flip and a bigger flip? I thought the bigger flip was the trick that had the tre flip in it and the big flip was just a varial?🤔
