Marantz PM7000N, Denon PMA800NE, Cambridge Audio CXA61. These three seemed to me the most interesting

Cambridge Audio CXA61 had the clarity and fullness for me, second choice would be between the Rotel & Marantz.

They all sound very good and far, far more similar than different...this is a beautiful thing! Aside from small preferences in sound from one model or the other, I'd say that class A/B and D amps are fully competitive, and price/value is the real diifference between them. I did fancy the Marantz, Cambridge and Nad C338..maybe 🤔

I will go for the Cambridge for this type of music

For this particular song I prefer the Marantz. The positive surprise here is the Denon AVR, which seems to be better than expected. Could you please compare the two Denons?Stereo amplifier vs AVR from the same brand would be interesting.

Denon 800 and marantz, they both have a dip in mid range and kef have boosted mids so combined we get a balanced frequency response.

Wished the playback choice was more suitable for a bookshelf speaker cos without subs will not sound at ist best when playing 'rock' music imo 😉

I've seen this and his other comparison videos multiple times and still cannot decide to choose an amplifier for my LS50 Meta's. On here the Marantz seems to hold up quite well but it's power output is relatively low at 70Wpc. And almost everywhere people suggest at least 100Wpc for these speakers...

What happened to the Yamaha? Your sound comparison between the Yamaha and the Cambridge you posted not to long ago was almost identical. Both sounded very strong and punchy. On this video comparison, the Yamaha was not as strong. It seems the volume was a bit under compare to the others. The Cambridge on the other hand still have that same punchy sound. Similar from the other comparison video. Anyways, my pick is the Cambridge.

I’ve got a Cambridge Audio cxa81 on two Klipsch RP-280F’s but I’ve been looking at the B&W 706 S2’s and these KEF LS50 Meta speakers and I’m leaning towards the Kefs. If price was no object I’d go w the B&W 705 S2’s.

Hi, I am trying to put a system together consisting of KEF LS50 Meta speakers using a Sugden Class A Integrated amplifier, either A21SE signature or Master class IA-4 using a good subwoofer. Can you kindly recommend which model Sugden in your opinion is the better Integrated amplifier and which subwoofer would you recommend? TIA.

How about testing them with a Denon AVR and presmps like the Emotiva BasX?

Rotel by far
Then Cambridge audio,
Marantz, the two smaller Nad and Audiolab great almost identical….
The big Nad was laid back and slow in the first 1/2 of the song and great maybe best of all at the complex fast pass of the song…….watts do matter for rock heavy rock for control and clarity

The excitement of the ax61 comes through here in spades, crazy to compare all these amps. Yamaha as501 didn't really live up here.

They all sound similar. Go for the cheapest one!

The Yamaha sounds the worst, very thin, followed by the Rotel, which is also too thin sounding. The two smaller NADs sound much better than the big one, which also sounds too thin, and the Cambridge and Denon 800 sound good too, followed by the Audiolab, Marantz, and Denon receiver
